This Privacy Policy explains how AfriTech-Support processes personal data when you visit this website or contact us. We respect your privacy and comply with the GDPR, the German BDSG/TTDSG, and, where applicable, the CCPA (California) and PIPEDA (Canada).
1. Data controller
AfriTech-Support, AfriTech-Support GmbH, Berlin, Germany.

2. What data we process
We process the following categories of personal data:
- Contact and quote form data: name, email, company, phone (optional), and your message, to respond to your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- Booking data: when you schedule a consultation via our scheduling provider (Cal.com), the data you enter there.
- Server log data: IP address, browser/user agent, and timestamp, processed transiently for security and to deliver the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Consent records: your cookie choices, stored locally in your browser.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Responding to enquiries and pre-contractual communication, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Operating, securing, and improving the website, legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Optional analytics, only with your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TTDSG.
4. Recipients and processors
We use carefully selected service providers under data-processing agreements (Art. 28 GDPR):
- Hosting/CDN: Vercel Inc., website delivery. TODO: confirm region and DPA.
- Email: Resend, delivery of contact/quote notifications.
- Scheduling: Cal.com, consultation booking (loaded only after consent).
- Maps: Google Maps, embedded map (loaded only after consent).
5. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA (e.g. in the USA or Canada). Where this occurs, transfers are safeguarded by EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision. TODO: confirm mechanisms per provider.
6. Retention
We keep enquiry data only as long as necessary to handle your request and to meet legal retention obligations, after which it is deleted.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and to object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time with future effect. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
